Friends of Isaac's Food Bank CIC is committed to the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of everyone who interacts with our organisation — including children, young people, and vulnerable adults who may visit our sheds or engage with our services.
We believe that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. All volunteers, staff, and anyone acting on behalf of the CIC are expected to uphold this commitment and to act promptly if they have a concern.
This statement sets out our approach to safeguarding and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Friends of Isaac's Food Bank was founded by Isaac Winfield, who is currently 13 years old. As a child who is integral to the public identity and operations of the CIC, Isaac's own safeguarding is a priority.
Isaac is supported at all times by his mother, Claire Chapman. Any media, press, or external engagement involving Isaac is managed with his wellbeing, consent, and best interests at the forefront.
Anyone wishing to photograph, film, or interview Isaac must seek prior consent from Claire Chapman. Requests can be made via friendsofisaacs@hotmail.com.
This Safeguarding Statement will be reviewed at least annually, or sooner following any safeguarding incident or significant change to the organisation's operations. The most recent review date is shown at the top of this page.
